The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs will be available in mixed reality. NASCAR and XTADIUM are once again teaming up to give NASCAR fans the ultimate viewing experience. All 10 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs races can be watched in this new, mixed-reality experience on Meta Quest headsets, with content becoming available 48 hours after the conclusion of each event.

DAZN TAKES THE BOXING FAN EXPERIENCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH VR

July 28, 2023. This summer, DAZN is bringing the spectacle that we have all been waiting for. MMA star Nate Diaz, will make his boxing debut against social media mega star Jake Paul, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. With a capacity of more than 18,000, the venue is expected to be filled to the brim with fans, celebrities and combat sports aficionados. But not everyone that wants to go will be able to, which is why DAZN has partnered with Xtadium, the VR App by YBVR, that will stream the full fight Live in VR inside the DAZN room.

The 2023 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four takes place this weekend in Lithuania, and fans from multiple countries around the world will be able to live the EuroLeague Basketball Final Four in a different, innovative way, thanks to the partnership between EuroLeague Basketball and YBVR.

I watched an NBA game through their VR broadcast and it made me excited for the future

I was a little hesitant about wearing a virtual reality headset to watch a basketball game. If I’m not at the game, it’s always nice to just unplug and sit on my couch to watch the NBA’s slate for the day. Maybe I’ll have my phone nearby so I can take notes or check Twitter for fan reactions, but for the most part, I typically like to use the sport as a brief escape. But I eventually got a chance to try on the Meta Quest 2 VR headset and visit the NBA Arena in Meta Horizon World. It was an immersive, 180-degree courtside experience. The NBA had five broadcasts this season and the experience was surreal.

NBA FANS GEAR UP IN VR TO WATCH LIVE GAMES IN XTADIUM!

“I’m so close!” Came from the voice of a die hard Knicks fan experiencing a new and innovative way to watch the NBA live from home. On Monday, February 27, hundreds of fans put on their Meta Quest headset and enjoyed watching the New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics. We are extremely happy to see our first live NBA game impact many people who watch sports daily. A post from House of Highlights on Instagram demonstrates our new technology we at YBVR push to bring to the future of sports. Many comments from this post state “I NEED THIS”, “This is the future” or  something funny like “Millionaires who spend $15,000 on Court-Side seats hate this one trick….Xtadium.” This event represented a great standard for where the technology currently is and where it will be headed in the foreseeable future. This was also a great way to give sports fans a first dive into Xtadium; the sports streaming app for VR that allows users to tailor the experience to their own needs and desires by giving them the chance to choose between multiple 180/360 camera angles.
