FOX Sports and YBVR today announce an immersive VR experience for the Copa América Final on Meta Quest, revolutionizing how fans engage with sports broadcasting. FOX Sports will bring the Copa América Final to virtual reality (VR) on YBVR’s Xtadium platform.
A New Way to Watch Copa America in VR
For the first time, FOX Sports is streaming key Copa América matches in virtual reality. Fans can watch the Copa América Final live in VR, along with the third-place match.
In addition, full replays of both semifinal games Argentina vs. Canada and Colombia vs. Uruguay are available inside the Xtadium app.
Produced in immersive 180-degree format, it will enable fans to experience the excitement and intensity of the match from multiple perspectives within the stadium.
This groundbreaking collaboration combines cutting-edge VR technology with extensive coverage, providing viewers with unprecedented access to live matches and comprehensive content.
How to Watch Copa America in VR
All Copa America in VR content launched on July 11, 2024, and is available for free through the Xtadium app. Fans only need a Meta Quest headset and can download Xtadium from the Meta Horizon Store.
Once inside the app, viewers can access:
- Live VR broadcasts of the Copa América Final and third-place match
- Full replays of both semifinal matches
- Short highlight videos from every major game
